Charlie's Golfing Club

This year we welcome back Charlie and Bill Bristow of Charlie's Golfing Club for the 4th time to support Charlie's charities of choice.  Charlie has carved time out of his incredibly busy golf schedule to again be part of the Fridley & Columbia Heights Golf Classic.

Charlie, who has Autism is raising money through his Tour and individual events to support Fraser, the Autism Society of Minnesota, and Special Adventures.

In the past 11 years he has raised $46,383.  Just this past year, Charlie raised $6,015.50 for his three charities. This year, he is playing at 75 different golf courses in across the United States and Canada. His goal this year is $4,000 and will start the season on April 1st in Amarillo, Texas. His best round of golf was in 2020 as he shot a 74 at Oak Marsh GC (Oakdale, MN). He is also a two time (2017 & 2018) Minnesota Special Olympics Nine-hole golf champion.  This past year, Charlie nearly landed his first hole-in-one, with the ball coming to a stop about an inch from the hole.

For this event, with a group donation of $20, Charlie will be the fifth golfer, taking the first tee shot and first putt for each group as the group can use Charlie’s shot to benefit their position.

We look forward to again working with Charlie to help support Fraser, the Autism Society of Minnesota, and Special Adventures.
